Did Biutiful get domestic distributor now? By the way, The Next Three Days just released the trailer, you can find it here : http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1810117984/trailer

    Hi Mikhael,
According to IMDB, yes. And thanks for the heads-up on the trailer, a link of which has now been added above.

Please upload The Debt, Miral, and How Do You Know trailer.

I wouldn't count out Michael Douglas for Solitary Man. 1) He could be having what looks like a career year with one good performance ( Wall Street 2 ) and one very good performance in SM. Oscar likes to reward good years ( Seymour Hoffman, Foxx, Moore for example ) and many people that have reviewed his performance in Solitary Man have said it's Oscar worthy. I read The Long Walk ( The Way Back ) and if the movie is anything like the book, Jim Sturgess will really get to shine in that role.
I'd also like to see Animal Kingdom squeeze in the top 10. I saw it more than half a year ago and it's still stuck with me. The word of mouth and critical praise is surounding the film now. We'll see if it can last till the end of the year. Maybe it will just have to settle for the Spirit awards.
And Jesse Eisenberg is NOT geting an Oscar nomination for The Social Network. That guy is so one note. I also think people are blowing their load way too early on The Social Network. Remember that Oscar is a whole different animal, and there are probably a lot of old school blue hairs that could care less about the Facebook story.

And how about Ryan Reynolds for BURIED? That film is a one man show that's getting rave reviews.

Your Best Documentary category missed-out on “A Film Unfinished”, which I'm certain will be shortlisted and perhaps within the final five nominees. Never bet against a Holocaust documentary, certainly not when it's so well made, so powerful and so well reviewed (and with tons of festival prizes, from Sundance to Jerusalem).

And I'm pretty sure Hubble 3D is only eligible for best documentary short, with a running time of only 40 minutes.

    Yair,
Thanks very much for pointing out my inadvertent oversight of “A Film Unfinished” (which I certainly intended to include) and my category mistake re “Hubble 3D” (which has been corrected).
    All my best,
    Scott

Natalie Portman is already nominated.,if anyone see the Black Swan trailer you can see the nomination already. This proves one more time that in Hollywood is pure business.Just like the planned reality shows, with the “UNION” winners and the “normal-real-unknown people”—All the winners in American Idol where “UNION-PROFESSIONALS” already selected previous the auditions.,they just put them in the “Regular Auditions” and they pretend to be surprised. For More info on this just make some research on your own and you find out the real “HOLLYWOOD SHOW”

Ah.. watch out for Dustin Hoffman stealing every scene he is in for Barney's Version. I can't believe people are sleeping on that one. At least he does ( the father ) in the book. He deserves to at last be on the list.

Ben Mendlesohn for “Animal Kingdom” and I’ve heard that Michael Douglas should get a repeat nomination for his performance in “Wall Street 2″
